Arm wrestling

So, Friday after mark when and picked up the boys from school he came back and told me that he was told by Aarons friend, Michael, that Aaron has a girlfriend. So when Aaron walked in the door, he asked him if he has a one. I think Aaron was a little afraid to admit he did so first he said yes then no and the finally yes again. Her name is calista. Immediately, mark says he has to break up with her, he's too young to have a girlfriend. So, Aaron agrees to do as he's told. Well, today I went to pick the boys up at the youth center and I asked Aaron how his girlfriend was and he said he broke up with her. I told him he was a heart breaker and his reply was, "I'm in a big bottle of love". I asked him what he meant by that and he said, a lot of girls like me. I think marks going to have his hands full. Girls are already chasing after him at the age of 9! Anyway, I thought that was pretty funny.
We then went to the gym, where I took this picture of the boys without them knowing. They had been arm wrestling.

Ice cream and cookies

I told the boys last night at 10pm when they were asking for ice cream that I'd let them have some today, so as proof I stick to my word, they got their ice cream. And I let them eat it in front of the tv. I think I spoil them.... but, in their defense, they have been very good today while dad was at work and even ate all their dinner with no complaints.

So, I told Aaron and Ethan that this was their "website", they think it's pretty cool that they have their own webiste on the internet. Everytime I am on Mark's laptop Ethan asks me if I am on their website. They want me to post some videos of them on here, but I have to figure out how to get the videos I do have on my blackberry on here.....hmmmm.
Today I took the to their friend Carter's birthday party at the base bowling alley. They had a good time. I pigged out on the ice cream cake, I love ice cream! Then we came home and hung out, I watched the UFC fight and they watched X-men. And of course Dad is at work.

Now the boys want to write some...... here's Aaron...

I love daddy a lot. he is always making sure we're happy and safe. I'm so very lucky he's my dad!

misc pictures

Here are some picture from the summer...Ethan and I visited the Pima County Fair in April 09, where he got to ride some rides, climb the rock wall (and kick the other kids' butt I might add) and get his face painted. We visited the pool many times and of course we cannot leave out my all time favorite, the gym!!

Saturday with a sleepover

The boys had a sleepover tonight while Dad works. I asked him if it could be at the house so that both boys get to have a sleepover and no one gets left out....so far we have managed to keep the house intact. They watched The Forbidden Kingdom and ate popcorn and strawberry short cakes. Here are some pictures from the night. There was never a dull moment. As you can see, all three always have to have their shirts off...I haven't really figured out why other than Mason always has his off so the boys tend to follow suit. Jasmine also had to be a part of the festivities, I think she thinks of herself as more human than dog sometimes. The boys love her so they wanted pictures with her.

While they watched their movie I sharpened my Betty Crocker skills and made some homeade Apple Crisp and Banana Bread, I've yet to try the bread but the crisp was awesome with some ice cream.

Earlier today we just lounged arounf the house until Mark had to go to work. Then I took the boys along with their friend Tyler to the gym with me and did a few errands.

The "about us" blog

So, I decided that I would be a cool girlfriend and blog about life with the Brown Boys...First there's "Papa Bear" Mark, he's the coolest dad on the block, obsessed with Mossy Oak and by obsessed we are talking, sheets, pillow cases, comforters, shower curtain, futon covers, rugs, if they make it in camo, you bet he'll have it or eventually get it. Then there's "Killer" Aaron, 9. He just started 4th grade and seems to be the popular kid on the block. The doorbell is always ringing and it's always "is Aaron home?". And then there's "Dino" Ethan, 7. He just started 2nd grade and will be turning 8 next month. I think he's looking forward to his birthday, he keep saying he want this Dinosaur game on the DS. They have a brother Taylor, 6 and in 1st grade. He lives with his mom in MO, but is always in their thoughts and he is missed dearly. There's also Jasmine, my husky that has adopted the boys as her family and loves to play with the kids and be where ever the action is.
I take care of the 2 boys while Mark works swings as a Security Forces Cop for the Air Force here on Davis-Monthan. So, I am lucky to have the chance to get to know them really well and I thought it would be cool to capture the time in a blog that one day they can all go back and read and remember the things that happened and that went on during their childhood.
